Quadrangular Under-19 Cricket Series in India 2023: Schedule and Match Timings

The Quadrangular Under-19 cricket tournament in India for 2023 is all set to kick off on November 13 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This youth competition, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), will see participation from two Indian teams, namely India A and India B, along with teams from Bangladesh and England. The tournament holds significant importance as it serves as the final competitive preparation for defending champions India, as well as England and Bangladesh, leading up to the ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from January 13 to February 4.

In accordance with the schedule, the participating teams will engage in a double round-robin format, playing against each other twice. Subsequently, the top two teams in the standings will vie for the championship in the final, while the third and fourth-placed teams will contend in a third-place playoff. The culmination of the Quadrangular Under-19 in India 2023 is slated for November 27.

The DVR Ground and CP Ground at Mulapadu will serve as the venues for all 14 matches throughout the tournament. Notably, the selection of the two Indian teams for this series will be based on their performances in the Under-19 Challenger Trophy, which took place in Guwahati from November 3 to 9.

India holds a remarkable record in Under-19 Cricket World Cup history, having secured five titles in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2018, and 2022. The upcoming tournament provides a crucial platform for India, England, and Bangladesh to fine-tune their strategies and skills ahead of the prestigious Under-19 World Cup. England, having won the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 1998, and Bangladesh, claiming the title in 2020, add to the competitive dynamics of the Quadrangular Under-19 in India 2023.
