Tickner as a replacement of Santner in the tri-series

T20 World Cup siren has rung. Cricket fans are waiting for this mega event of cricket. But before that, the tri-nation series is going to start on the soil of New Zealand from Friday (October 7). Where two Asian countries Pakistan and Bangladesh will participate with the hosts.

 

Meanwhile, New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner will join the team late in that series. He took leave to stay with his wife due to the birth of a child.

 

Santner will not play in New Zealand’s first match against Pakistan in the tri-nation series due to be on vacation. The tri-nation series is seen as a preparation for New Zealand, Pakistan and Bangladesh before the World Cup. After playing this series, the three teams will fly to Australia to play the World Cup. Bangladesh – Pakistan will meet in the first match of the tri-nation series on October 7. New Zealand will play against Bangladesh on October 9.
