India always plays with the goal of winning any ICC tournament. However, since 2013, this team, one of the strongest in the cricket world, has not won any ICC tournament. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli had to be satisfied with reaching the semi-finals of this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Dinesh Karthik will not be seen again in T20Is, which is quite predictable due to their age. Meanwhile, an anonymous board official said, “BCCI never asks anyone to retire. It is a personal decision. If you don’t want to retire, you don’t have to. But most of the seniors will not be seen in T20 next year.”
It is clear from what the board official said in the media, the place of Rohit, Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Lokesh Rahul in the Indian T20 team is not certain. BCCI is considering all-rounder Hardik Pandya as the captain of the youth team in the future.
